3D modelling is an increasingly popular way for businesses to showcase their products and services. 3D models have the ability to bring products to life, providing customers with a realistic view of what they’re purchasing before making a purchase decision.
Recently, we had the opportunity to work with a dental supply company that needed 3D product models for their catalogue. The challenge was creating accurate high-resolution 3D models of bottles, jars, syringes and tubes that could be UV mapped for easy labels and graphic application. Here’s how we did it!
3D modelling can be incredibly useful for improving product catalogues in a variety of ways. 3D models can help customers better understand the shape, size, and features of products before they make a purchase decision. 3D models are also beneficial because they allow customers to view products from different angles and perspectives, giving them a more immersive experience.
Virtual 3D models of products offer numerous benefits, both to the customer and to the company. 3D modelling eliminates the need for physical samples and reduces production costs. 3D models can be reused multiple times, meaning that companies don’t have to keep producing new samples repeatedly. 3D models also reduce the risk of errors, since every view of the 3D product model is identical.
We want to take a moment to thank everyone involved in this project. 3D modelling requires a great deal of skill and expertise, and we are grateful for all the hard work that went into creating these 3D products. We are confident that this 3D product catalogue will help customers make more informed purchase decisions and benefit the company in the long run.
We hope this 3D product catalogue is a success for everyone involved!
