King Kow Retail Visualisation
This King Kow Retail visualisation project for Adam and Youngson is a fantastic example of the 3D visualisation I have done in the retail sector. The design has lovely soft pastel tones and bold forms designed to be functional foremost and engaging for the younger customers. The larger stores include a play area and textural elements on the floor and walls to create a tactile environment for little hands to explore.
If I had not initially thought to utilise custom control functionality in the furniture, the design phase would have been a significantly longer process. Custom functionality provides a massive reduction in time during both the development phase and the production stage. For the box module in this design, the custom functions included adjustable sliders and selection options for multiple elements of the unit.
Adjustable height, depth and width are the most basic and useful functions, but I created many other functions that enabled significant alterations to the form plus further fine-tuning options. The panel below shows the range of options for the box module.
